Over the past two decades, the name Isabell Kristensen has become synonymous with the glamorous world of couture. The Danish-born designer and mother of four, has dressed some of the world’s most beautiful and talented women. Such as; Katy Perry, Shirley Bassey, Nicole Kidman, Paris Hilton, Kate Winslet, Joely Richardson, Shania Twain, Liza Minnelli, The Countess of Wessex, and HSH Princesse Charlène of Monaco, to name a few. Isabell and her designs are regularly featured across a range of international fashion, societal and royal magazines. These include; fashion magazines VOGUE, ELLE, COSMOPOLITAN, TATLER, HARPERS, and international royal and celebrity magazines such as German Adel Heute and Bunte, British OK and HELLO, Italian OGGI, Spanish HOLA!, French Paris MATCH and Danish Billed Blade. Along with her couture collections Isabell has also created a Bridal line as featured on the cover of the UK’s No.1 Best-selling Bridal magazine BRIDES. Isabell and her gowns also feature on a range of international television stations, for example, German RTL and ZDF, French TF1, Danish DR1, British Channel 4. Whilst her designs were covered by the BBC and American press, as worn, by Shirley Bassey for her performances at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 2012 and the 2013.

As an international designer in demand, after establishing herself in the fashion capital of London, Isabell expanded to the French Riviera where she opened her second couture boutique in Monaco, which has remained for almost 15 years. Isabell holds fashion-shows all over the world, from Singapore to Los Angeles, including specialised shows for Royalty such as for the King and Queen of Malaysia, as well as, for events such as the Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival and recently returned from the Caribbean following her latest fashion show in Jamaica. Additionally, as charity is very important to Isabell, ISABELL KRISTENSEN has collaborated with many charities over the years by providing fashion shows to help raise funds for charities such as Children in Crisis, Elton John AIDS Foundation, the PINK Ball and more.

However, Isabell’s talent for design and multifaceted and creative attitude is not limited to the catwalk, quite the contrary Isabell has immersed herself in various industries including; the film industry, through her role as head costume designer for feature films such as “Shanghai Baby”, the hospitality industry, as Isabell has been commissioned by luxury hotel branches such as the Dorchester Collection and the Churchill Hotel – Hyatt Regency, whom she designed uniforms and accessories for, including sterling silver cufflinks, handbag holders, key-rings, Isabell has also established herself in the world of interior design with her own home ware line whilst simultaneously creating two ready to wear lines and nurturing her ambition of breaking into the cosmetics industry by designing her very own unique fragrance. In 2006 the world renowned couturier became the first ever Danish designer to release her own fragrance, Dreams, whose success inspired the creation of Endless Dreams, followed by PUMP IT: Purple Mist and Monaco.

Isabell Kristensen gowns are all made to measure, every piece is uniquely designed to each of our clients measurements and specifications. Each of Isabell’s creations are made by hand in one of our ateliers in Monaco or London, our seamstresses are skilled in the most delicate crafts of couture artistry, allowing us to produce beautiful hand made lace and embroidery. Isabell always insists on the utmost standards of both technique and materials. Central to couture as a craft is a concern towards quality as oppose to quantity, therefore, we accept only the finest fabrics, beads, pearls, zirconia, crystals and craftsmanship.

Isabell Kristensen designs include a variety of different styles and whilst the Couture boutiques are tailored towards couture gowns, cocktail dresses, robes de soirée, wedding gowns etc, a large variety of other more casual attires are available. These include fine silk shirts, skirts, tunics, elegant pairs of trousers, tailor-made female suits, bolero jackets, culottes pants and more.

Isabell traditionally releases two couture collections a year, however, when particularly inspired or impatient Isabell may reveal an additional collection. Which, tends to be designed towards a specific period or purpose such as Isabell’s ‘Cruise Collection’, created to meet the demands of clients for a supply of specialised summer wear, both couture and casual.

We also work with special commissions, which are exclusive one off pieces created for red carpet events, weddings and other notable occasions. These can be designed in accordance to the clients vision of her dream gown, the client may have the opportunity to meet personally with Isabell to detail her perfect dress, where-after Isabell will specially design a piece uniquely for the client in question.

We provide a personalised international service with an entire team devoted towards you and your event. Due to our multiple branches and ateliers we can often manage short notice orders and arrange for fittings, alterations, pre-views etc in different countries, a service much appreciated by some of our busier international clients.

OUR FRAGRANCES

“DREAMS” LINE

Dreams, Endless Dreams and Moments of Dreams

In 2004 Isabell Kristensen became the first-ever Danish designer to release her own fragrance, DREAMS, which soon emerged as the best-selling perfume in Scandinavia. DREAMS’ top notes are lychee, green notes and rosewood, heart notes are ylang-ylang, freesia, lily of the valley and red currant, the base notes are musk, cedar and sandalwood.

The immediate success of DREAMS inspired the creation of Isabell’s second perfume, Endless Dreams, a luxurious and exotic floral scent, and led to the expansion of the product line for both fragrances to include eau de toilette, deodorants, body lotions and body creams. Endless Dreams’ top notes are mandarin and lemon, heart notes are rose and cedar, the base note is white musk.

The new addition to the line, Moments of Dreams, will be launched in Scandinavia in September 2014 to be followed by further launches across Europe in the ensuing months.

PUMP IT: PURPLE MIST

Isabell’s creation designed for partying and inspired by music, it took a year to develop the perfume and many journeys to visit our nez in Grasse. Pump it is elegant and alluring, it entices all with a soft cloud of seductive aromas, a sweet and vibrant vapour that provides the perfect excuse for temptation, a purple mist. The pure blend of both floral and fruity notes persuades the senses, producing a delicious aftertaste and a lust for more. Pump it features Isabell’s favoured flavours combined to create a stimulating and addictive fragrance. This combination is composed of petal of red rose, strawberry, blackcurrant, violet grape, luxurious patchouli leaves surrounded by cashmere and musk in the heart, and finishes with cooling and fresh hints of jasmine, santal, osmanthus and candies in the base. A charming balance of warm, yet exciting, and fascinating blends that, together, release a uniquely desirable scent.

The purple and silver cylindrical box reveals the orb flask within, fitted with the pump designed to produce the perfect plume of mist, a vintage style accessory, with a fashionable Parisienne feel, a mix of classical elegance combined with a compelling contemporary look. Pump It is a passionate fragrance, with a strong character and independent personality, not just a fashion accessory but an expression of taste. The Pump it eau de parfum comes prepared in a convenient 50 ml flask, suitable for any ladies handbag or partygoer.

MONACO

Isabell’s latest fragrance is a tribute to the glamour and charm Isabell has experienced living in Monte Carlo but more importantly, a tribute to the enchanting and enduring beauty of the Royal Wedding of HSH Prince Albert of Monaco to HSH Princesse Charlène. This event will always hold a whole and true place in Isabell’s heart after she was humbled and honoured to have been chosen by HSH Princesse Charlène to be her Maid of Honour on this very special day.

The fragrance is a clean, fresh and powdery blend of rose and iris with a twist of musk, making it both seductive and exclusive. It begins with a rare composition of sweet mandarins combined with powdered top notes, followed by a heart of Turkish rose and iris in a sophisticated blend of woody notes, like sandalwood and cedar. Ambergris completes the sweetness. The base notes of white and red musk are in splendid harmony with the resin-like benzoin, which adds sweetness and a hint of incense.
